The Russian state corporation Rostec will unveil export-oriented armored vehicles based on the Bumerang (Boomerang) 8x8 armored platform at the international airshow Aero India 2021 that is taking place in Bangalore from February 3 to 5, said Victor Kladov, Director for International Cooperation and Regional Policy of Rostec.

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Xinjiang Military Command recently received delivery of and commissioned its first batch of Type 15 light tanks, which excels at rapid reaction combat in plateau regions, Liu Xuanzun reports on Global Times. With the commissioning, both Xinjiang and Tibet military commands safeguarding China's western borders are now operating these advanced tanks specializing in plateau combat.

Russia has launched R&D to create fourth generation combat outfit of a soldier. It will replace third-generation Sotnik, which is also being designed to replace second-generation Ratnik, Rostec Corporation said. It is doing the research on orders of the Defense Ministry.
