The Indian Defense Ministry has greenlit a proposal for the acquisition of approximately 6,400 rockets intended for the Pinaka multiple rocket launcher systems (MLRS). Valued at 2,800 crore Indian Rupees, which equates to roughly 356 million US dollars, this significant purchase forms a crucial part of the ongoing artillery modernization efforts within the Indian Army.

The Estonian government, led by Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur, has approved a military aid package for Ukraine. This decision marks a continuous effort to support Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression. The package, valued at approximately 80 million euros, includes essential military equipment such as Javelin anti-tank missiles and other indispensable gear.

This increase in main battle tank production comes as Russia faces severe economic sanctions, which, however, do not seem to affect it.

On December 13, 2023, Italian defense company Leonardo and Franco-German defense consortium KNDS (KMW and Nexter Defence Systems) finalized an agreement for the Italian Leopard 2A8 procurement program.
