In the framework of the Turkish Ministry of Defense program ZMA, the Turkish army received a new modernized version of its FNSS ACV-15 tracked armored IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle), called ZMA-15, fitted with a new unmanned weapon station NEFER 25mm designed and manufactured by the Turkish company Aselsan.

On the European procurement platform TED (no date mentioned by Estonian Free Press who published the info on December 1), the Swedish procurement agency Försvarets Materielverk (FMV) announced the conclusion of a framework contract with BAE Systems Hägglunds for the delivery of 436 Bv 410 articulated all-terrain vehicles. The contract is valued at SEK 7.6 Bn (EUR 690 Mn) and includes spare parts and logistical support.

The U.S. State Department made a determination on December 1, approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Finland of FIM-92K Stinger Man-Portable missiles; Production Verification Flight Test (PVFT) FIM-92K Stinger Man-Portable missiles; and related equipment for an estimated cost of $380 million. The Romanian army lags far behind with investments in main battle tanks, still operating its aging T-85M1 Bizonul (Bison), a local adaptation of the old Soviet T-55's successor. DAF Trucks on December 1 presented the first units of a series of 879 all-wheel-drive trucks to the Belgian Defense. Galvion, a British company working in the design and manufacture of military power and data management solutions, has received a major order from the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) for its Squad Power Manager (SPM). The order, valued at $11 million, placed by the Power Team within Marine Corps System Command’s Logistics Combat Element Systems, will supply SPM systems to each Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) within the Marine Corps, including Reserve Forces. The Squad Power Manager (SPM) is a core element of Galvion’s Nerv Centr Active Systems range, which provides scalable power and data solutions to the dismounted operator. Deliveries will start in January 2023.
