According to information released on December 17, 2021, On December 6, 2021, the GME (Groupement Momentané d'Entreprises) EBMR (engin blindé multi rôles) delivered to the French Army the 119th and last GRIFFON 6x6 armored vehicle planned for 2021. According to Yonhap news agency and the Korea Herald, South Korea on December 15 started deploying new 7.62 mm-caliber machine guns to the Army under a project to replace the existing decades-old equipment and reinforce combat capabilities, the arms procurement agency said. The K16 machine guns will supplant K3 and M60 guns as a bedrock asset of the military's firepower, the first such replacement in three decades, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said.

On December 14, 2021, the Netherlands officially welcomed the US, Canada, and Norway as members of the Dutch-led EU project aimed at improving military mobility in Europe. Northrop Grumman has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Army in support of the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) to provide Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control (FAAD C2) to Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. The $14.3 million contract will support upgrading air defense and counter unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) capabilities and form the framework for integration into EUCOM Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Plan to more fully support the NATO air defense system architecture.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to sign a contract with the State Kyiv Design Bureau Luch on the production of another battalion of Neptune coastal missile system, Militarnyi reports. This information was announced in an interview with Apostrophe TV channel (Security Talks project) by the company’s CEO Oleg Korostelov. According to him, the agreement is planned to be signed by the end of 2021.
