Raytheon Technologies has demonstrated its High Energy Laser Weapon System paired with a Norwegian NASAMS (National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System ) anti-missile technology to destroy a swarm of drone targets: the HELWS destroyed nine Group one and Group two drones over the White Sands Missile Range.

According to the Military Programming Law [LPM] 2019-25, the French Army will have 1,872 6x6 Griffon armored vehicles and 978 4x4 Serval by 2030, recalls Laurent Lagneau on Opex360. A certain number of these vehicles will be made available to the medical service (Service de Santé des Armées, SSA) to enable it to provide forward medical support (soutien médical de l’avant).

Rheinmetall has unveiled the Oerlikon AMMR, the Group's latest radar system. The Oerlikon AESA Multi-Mission Radar (AMMR) was developed entirely at Rheinmetall Italia in Rome, underscoring once again the subsidiary's role as Rheinmetall's radar centre of excellence. The new radar is now ready for series production.

According to information published by the Newspaper website "Welt.de" on April 1, 2022, Germany has approved the delivery of 58 Pbv 501 tracked armored IFVs (Infantry Fighting Vehicles to Ukraine. The Pbv 501 is a Swedish upgrade of ex-East German Army BMP-1 IFVs (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) that were delivered to Sweden from 1998 to 2001 to mechanize the Swedish Army infantry brigades.
