According to a contract released at the Day 3 of IDEX, International Land Defense Exhibition that was held in Abu Dhabi, on February 2021, UAE (United Arab Emirates) will acquire an undisclosed number of Chunmoo multi-caliber MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) manufactured by South Korean company Hanwha Defense as well as guided, unguided rockets and missiles.

The Great American Off-Road Race announced that they are officially launching an all-new dedicated Military Vehicle Class in time for the 2021 Mint 400, this December 1st - 5th in Las Vegas, Nevada. British troops have returned from a successful month-long operation to conducting deep reconnaissance and deterring terrorist groups in Mali. The Long Range Recce Group (Mali) deployed on Op Seka, from their base in Gao, with orders to recce the area of operations, to protect the local population and deter hostile activity. The Russian-made BRDM-2MS was showcased for the first time on March 27, 2021, during a military parade celebrating Myanmar Armed Forces Day. According to the SIPRI (Stockholm International Peace Research Institute) Arms Trade Database, Myanmar has purchase from Russia an undisclosed number of modernized BRDM-2, 4x4 reconnaissance armored vehicles in BRDM-2MS configuration that were delivered in 2019.

On March 31, 2021, Florence Parly, Minister of the French armed forces, welcomed the notification of a new 10-year service support market (mss2) for the Leclerc MBT. This market is worth an amount of more than 1 billion euros.

The U.S. Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command is once again moving cargo to Europe in support of the DEFENDER-Europe 21 exercise. A Total-Force team of active-duty, National Guard and Reserve Soldiers, civilians and commercial partners began loading the Military Sealift Command’s U.S. Naval Ship Bob Hope on March 24, 2021, in support of Immediate Response, a linked exercise to DEFENDER-Europe 21, at the port of Jacksonville. This is the first of four outbound port missions in support of the exercise for the 841st Transportation Battalion, 597th Transportation Brigade and SDDC headquarters. On February 22, Germany signed a contract with Israel to purchase the Trophy active protection system (APS) for its Leopard 2A7 Main Battle Tanks. The installation and integration of the system into the tank are to be carried out by Kraus-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), the Leopard’s manufacturer. It is expected that in the future Germany will procure additional Trophy systems to equip most of its modern fleet of Leopard 2 MBTs with APS capabilities.
