Launched by the French Special Operations Forces Command under the sponsorship of the French Minister of Defense, the Special Operations Forces Innovations Seminar (SOFINS) is a new concept of event for the SOF community to interact with industry and to collaborate on the challenges, initiatives and way-ahead in delivering the most cutting-edge capabilities into the hands of SOF operators.

The SOFINS is organized at the military Camp of Souge near the city of Bordeaux, with a large indoor and outdoor exhibition of military equipment especially dedicated for Special Forces members. It's also an opportunity for many companies to demonstrate latest innovations and technologies of combat equipment for Special Forces units.

During three days, more than 170 exhibitors will present a wide range of military and security products to more than 40 local and foreign Special Operations Forces delegations from all over the world.

SOFINS, it's also live demonstration of Special Forces from the French Army and conferences with keynote speakers, led by French Army Special Forces Command.
