During the IDEX 2015 Exhibition taking place in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) from 22-26 February, US company Will-Burt was showcasing its SPM Spindle Mast fitted on a demonstrator vehicle for the UAE Army Forward Artillery Observer Vehicle program. Will Burt is part of a local consortium represented by "United International Representation of Companies".

The document was signed by Rosoboronexport Deputy Director General Igor Sevastyanov and Emirates Defence Technology CEO Mohamed Al Suwaidi.

Orbital ATK chose IDEX 2015 to announce that it has successfully performed a live-fire demonstration of a key element of its Helicopter Active Protection System (HAPS). The HAPS Kill Vehicle (KV) was able to launch, perform pitch maneuvers and fly to a detonation point that simulated the location of an incoming rocket-propelled grenade (RPG). The demonstration is a  valuable step toward a solution for the RPG threat to helicopters flying missions dangerous areas.
