Expodefensa international defense and security trade fair has been launched in 2010 in order to present tailored solutions to defense and security companies interested by Colombian and South-American markets: - create a space for interaction between both national and international Military and Police forces and their suppliers, which will present the latest and most innovative developments in the national and international Defense and Security industry; - present and strengthen technological development in the fields of Defense and Security, and Colombian and Regional military self-sufficiency; - be a place that allows clients and suppliers to make contacts and strengthen existing relationships; - position Colombia as a major player in this field, being the focus of large-scale cooperative projects that bring about the development of both the Defense and Security sector and national industry; - strengthen and increase the participation of national industry, especially of the Colombian SMEs (Small and Medium Size Enterprises), contributing to self-sufficiency and strategic independence. The fifth edition of Expodefensa is co-organized by CORFERIAS, the International Business and Exhibition Center of Bogota, and COGES, the General Commission for GICAT Exhibitions and Event. COGES, a GICAT’s subsidiary company, organizes Eurosatory Exhibition. It federates the French industry in national pavilions in various Defence & Security exhibitions within the worldwide. | The International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO is the most important exhibition of the defense industry in Europe and the third largest trade show on the Old Continent; ranked after Paris and London. The 23rd International Defence Industry Exhibition is planned to be held from 1st to 4th September 2015; the expo promises to be a record-breaking event. All signs show that the MSPO fair will be in the centre of attention for the world's major defence industry companies.

The MSPO's tradition is to include Lead Nations' Exhibitions. These Exhibitions have been a part of the Expo since 2004. Until now Germany, France, Israel, the USA, Sweden, the V4 Group Countries, Great Britain, Italy and Turkey have presented their military potentials. The 2015 MSPO will feature Norway as Lead Nation of the exhibition, with many Norwegian companies which put on show their military products and services.
The Expo programme encompassed almost 40 seminars and congresses; they provide an ideal opportunity to exchange experiences, to expand knowledge about the latest military technology solutions, to establish contacts and relations as well as to hold talks between the defense industry, the armed forces and government administration. The program of this year's Expo induced: the Kielce Security Conference - the Conferences' thematic scope included issues related to the situation in Ukraine, the Polish defense industry consolidation and the promotion of Polish technology abroad. Other seminars staged within the scope of MSPO: "Structural changes in the defense industry in Ukraine on its way to NATO", organized by the NATO Liaison Office and the conference "Doing business with the army – a safe way to earn money." |

Russia has invited more than 100 countries at the largest international exhibition of arms and military equipment Russia Arms Expo (RAE-2015) said the presidential envoy in the Urals Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh.
RAE-2015 will be held from 9 to 12 September2015 in Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovsk region), Russia. The event was organized Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, and general organizer – Scientific and Production Corporation “Uralvagonzavod”. “Organization work at the invitation to participate in the exhibition of foreign delegations, informed more than 100 foreign embassies,” said Kholmanskikh. As the Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk region Andrey Sobolev, was also present at the event, the Russian Federation has sent invitations to all the Ministers of Defense of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, and stands Belarus and South Korea have declared to participate in the RAE-2015. RAE is one of the world’s leading exhibition of arms: since 1999, the number of items has increased to about 2500, who presented 50 countries. In 2013, the number of visitors approached 21,000, including 467 foreigners of 40 delegations from countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Demonstration area has no analogues in the world: a single set length of about 500 km and a width of 1.5 kilometers of trails for automotive seats and armored vehicles of high length (2,425 meters and 2,775 meters respectively), vododrom, highway barriers, helicopter landing pad, shooting range and gun emplacements. |

The International Defence and Security Technologies Fair IDET is the most important pro-export event for the Czech defence industry. The Unmanned Zone was successfully launched in 2011 and since then a series of stakeholders have increased their support. The result was a vastly augmented Unmanned Zone in 2013 which covered more than 2,000m2 of floor space, compared to the 800m2 used at DSEI 2011.
