Since 1950, the Association of the United States Army has worked to support all aspects of national security while advancing the interests of America's Army and the men and women who serve.
AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America's Army - Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and family members. AUSA provides numerous Professional Development Opportunities at a variety of events both local and national. Held every October in Washington D.C., United States, the AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition is one of the largest land warfare expositions and professional development forums in the world. The Annual Meeting consists of informative presentations, panel discussions on pertinent military and national security subjects, workshops and important AUSA business meetings. The three day event also includes over 700 industry and military exhibits occupying over 700,000 square feet of exhibit space. Presentations on the state of the Army and related defense subjects are given by the Secretary of the Army, the Army Chief of Staff and other senior Army and Department of Defense representatives. Each year over 35,000 attendees, including senior leaders from the Army, DoD and congress, as well as foreign dignitaries participate in the Annual Meeting. The event provides a unique opportunity to showcase defense industry products and services to key Army and DoD decision-makers, discover new developments in defense technology and meet with colleagues from the world-wide defense community. Are there speaking opportunities available at the Annual Meeting? Speaking opportunities at AUSA's Annual Meeting are not readily available to anyone outside the Army and the defense community. The speakers for ILW's Contemporary Military Forums and other events at AUSA's Annual Meeting will be determined in coordination with the office of the Army Chief of Staff. Once the panel leaders have been identified, the composition of each panel will be determined either by the office of the Chief of Staff or by the panel leaders themselves. |

Since 2005 the MSPO exhibition has been accompanied by National Exhibitions which are the showcase for the defence industry of particular countries. Until now Germany, France, Israel, the USA, Sweden, the V4 Group Countries and Great Britain have presented their military potentials. This year’s National Exhibition features Italy. The exhibition of the Italian Ministry of Defence and Italian industry will be staged on 500 square metres of the indoor exhibition space in addition to 500 square metres outdoor. The Italian Ministry of Defence also prepares a conference which will bring together the representatives of Defence Ministries from Poland, Germany, France, UK and other countries. The MSPO’s presentation is one the elements of military and technical cooperation between Poland and Italy; this is the result of the Polish – Italian defence alliance signed in March 2012 by Tomasz Siemoniak on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Poland and Giampaolo di Paola Memorandum on behalf of Italy.
The Exhibition of the Polish Armed Forces complemented with dynamic presentations have become an indispensable element of the MSPO Exhibition. This year’s edition is prepared by the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces in conjunction with the Land Forces and Military Police. |

The International Defence Industry Exhibition is the forum which brings together potential clients and suppliers; this is also the showcase for the latest military technologies, armaments and products for the army. This is the place where clients can present their needs and expectations; this is the platform for talks and discussions. Business insiders from all over the world establish new business contacts and maintain their long-lasting relations. This trade fair is much more than the exhibition; the event encompasses seminars and conferences. The institutions which support the trade fair as well as the exhibitors have a chance to hold their presentations, symposiums and conferences.
For a number of years the MSPO Exhibition has been organised under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Treasury, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as well as the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. Following the previous years’ example the 2012 MSPO edition will also encompass the meeting of the deputy ministers representing the Ministries of National Defence, Economy, Treasury with Polish defence industry sector representatives. The best products put on display at the MSPO will be granted with the annual Award of the RP President as well as with the Defender Awards and Special Commendations of particular Ministries. The Defence Exhibition is of special significance for the Polish business industry. The trade fair visitors are the business sector professionals who represent Polish Army, the Police, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Interior, Polish Government accompanied by foreign delegations. Official delegations representing 71 countries have been invited to partake in this year’s MSPO. The MSPO has been granted with the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski. |

Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) is one of the world´s premier aerospace and defence events and holds a prominent position within the aviation and defence calendar. The exhibition takes place on a biennial basis in September. The first three days of the exhibition are traditionally trade days, followed by twoairshow days that is open to the public.

Eurosatory est le plus grand salon international de Défense et sécurité en Europe. Avec plus de 1300 exposants provenant de 54 pays, Eurosatory 2010 fut une édition unique pour le secteur de la défense terrestre, avec une première présentation de 350 nouveaux produits ou systèmes d’armes sur l’ensemble des cinq jours du salon. Ce chiffre montre l’importance du salon de défense de Paris pour le monde de l’industrie internationale. En effet, plusieurs sociétés attendent cet événement pour présenter leurs dernières innovations technologies, tenant compte de l’importance du salon et de la qualité de ses visiteurs et délégations provenant du monde entier, 48% des visiteurs internationaux sont impliqués dans les processus d’achat et 76% déclarent rechercher de nouveaux produits et systèmes d’armes. Ces chiffres s’élèvent respectivement à 24% et 72% pour les visiteurs français.
Eurosatory est visité par un nombre impressionnant de décideurs. Des délégations officielles en quantité croissante et aux effectifs importants, connaissant bien le salon et son offre, et préparent leur visite. Des chefs de délégations s’entourant d’experts, complétant les programmes officiels par des visites très ciblées. 126 délégations officielles de 74 pays, invitées par le Ministre Français de la défense, regroupant 496 VIP parmi lesquelles 12 ministres de la défense, 4 secrétaires d’Etat à la défense, 15 directeurs nationaux d’armement, 27 chefs d’état-major d’armée ou d’armée de terre. Les visiteurs professionnels forment l’essentiel des visiteurs d’Eurosatory. Les secteurs de l’industrie, de la logistique et des services représentent cumulés 67 % des visiteurs du salon. Un autre point important, est la visibilité mondiale du salon de défense Eurosatory, la couverture médiatique a été assurée par 636 journalistes de la presse, la radio, la TV et du web venant des 5 continents et représentant 328 médias ont couvert le salon. Présence moyenne de 2,5 jours. Avec l’entrée de l’Internet dans le secteur de la défense, le salon Eurosatory est également diffusé par ce réseau mondial, ouvrant une nouvelle fenêtre à l’ensemble du monde sur les activités, les produits présentés et les différents offres et services des exposants. Pour la première fois dans son histoire, Eurosatory a été relayé sur le réseau Internet par la société Army Recognition, dont l’objectif, fut de créer un journal en ligne avec les actualités journalières du salon, documentés de reportage photos et vidéo. Pour l’édition 2012 d’Eurosatory, le magazine en ligne pour l’industrie de défense et sécurité « Army Recognition », sera le journal officiel exclusif des actualités d’Eurosatory 2012. Le site Recognition c’est plus de 20.000 lecteurs par jour provenant de 90 pays dans le monde et 8 millions de pages vues par mois. Lors de l’édition 2010 d’Eurosatory, le magazine en ligne de défense et sécurité « Army Recognition » et plus particulièrement « Le journal en ligne des actualités Euroastory 2010 » a été lu par 30,640 personnes (moyenne par jour), et plus de 394,238 pages ont été consultées par jour. |

DSA was the first show in the world to have an exclusive feature on the Battlefield Healthcare sector. After two successful showings alongside DSA, this sector has become a vital sector whereby several Surgeon Generals from 18 nations visited DSA 2010. The Special Operations Forces Exhibition & Conference (SOFEX) takes place biennially at the King Abdullah I Airbase in Amman in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This niche event is held under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Chairmanship of HRH Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein and with the full support of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF). Eurosatory is the most important event of Defence and Security exhibition in Europe. With more than 1300 exhibitors from 54 countries, Eurosatory 2010 was a very important edition for the land defense sector with a first time presentation of 350 new products or weapons systems over the five days of this event. This figure shows the importance of the defence exhibition of Paris for the worldwide defence and security industry. Indeed, several companies decided wait for this event to present their latest innovations and technologies, taking account of the importance of this event and the quality of its visitors and delegations coming from the entire world: 48% of international visitors were involved in procurement and 76% said they were looking for new products and weapon systems. The equivalent figures for French visitors were 24% and 72%.
Eurosatory was visited by an impressive number of decision makers and by an increasing number of largely-staffed official delegations, familiar with the exhibition and its product offerings, and preparing their visit in advance. Heads of delegations assisted by experts, complementing the official programmes with specifically targeted visits. 126 official delegations from 74 countries, invited by the French Minister of Defence, comprising 496 VIPs, including 12 Ministers of Defence, 4 Secretaries of State for Defence, 15 National Armaments Directors, 27 Armed Forces or Army Chiefs of Staff. With the entry of Internet in the defence sector, the Eurosatory exhibition was also relayed by this worldwide network, opening a new window on the world on the activities, the products and various offers and services from the exhibitors present at this event. For the first time in its history, Eurosatory was relayed on Internet network by the company Army Recognition, which goal was to create an online newspaper with the daily news of Eurosatory 2010, documented with photographs and video reports. For Eurosatory 2012, the online magazine for Defence & Security Industry "Army Recognition" is the only official online Show News Daily Eurosatory 2012. The Army Recognition website it is an average of 20.000 visitors per day and 8 million pages seen per month. During the Eurosatory Defence Exhibition edition 2010, the online magazine of Defence & Security "Army Recognition" and more particularly the “online show news daily Eurosatory 2010” were visited by 30.641 people (average per day), and more than 394.238 pages consulted per day. |
