The Polish MS-20 “Daglezja” Towed Support Mobile Bridge
was unveiled in 2008 during the defence exhibition MSPO in Kielce, Poland.

The conference was attended by representatives of local and national media.

Mr. Szortyka, on behalf of Krzysztof Krystowski (the President of BUMAR Warszawa sp. z o. o.) informed the guests about the strategy of Bumar Group with respect to the companies from Gliwice, and about adopted and implemented restructuring plans. Mr Szortyka also declared that the Bumar-Land Division is ready to implement the part of the armored program related to main battle tanks, worth about 7,000,000,000 PLN. Polish defense industry has always been and still is a strong competitor to the world’s largest corporations.

The Bumar-Land Division presently consists of three companies – Bumar-Labedy S.A. Mechanical Works, “Tarnów” S.A. Mechanical Works, and OBRUM sp. z o. o. (Gliwice), which prepares innovational construction projects. The last one will be the leader of the Division.

Those three companies were chosen to form the Division due to their skills and knowledge as well as production and repair capacity.

The Division will also obtain commercial rights.

In the near future, the company Wojskowe Instytuty I Zaklady Remontowe will join the Division.

The MS-20 Towed Support Bridge consists of the prime mover tractor (6 × 6) and a semi-trailer that carries the scissors type bridge and its associated launching system.
When opened out the scissors type bridge is 23 m long which allows it to span gaps of up to 21 m which depends on the conditions of the bank
