The L/70 is an anti-aircraft gun 40mm caliber designed and manufactured by the Swedish Company Bofors. The L/70 was used by many Western nations and was widely exported to Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America. The L/70 remains in widespread use although many systems have been replaced by surface to air missiles or are relegated to a secondary role.
