The UNIDEF gun mount systems are fully designed and developed in Turkey using strong and lightweight material. During BIDEC 2019, UNIDEF has displayed its full range of gun mount weapon systems armed with Profense M134 Gatling Gun that can be mounted on helicopters, small boats and land platforms.

The Unidef weapon mounting system includes a weapon cradle supporting a machine gun for pivoting movement about in horizontal elevation axis. A carriage supports the weapon cradle and is supported by a pintle for rotation in vertical azimuth axis.

The Profense M134 Gatling Gun is an electrically driven, (28 VDC) automatic machine gun with a sustained rate of fire in excess of 3,000 rounds per minute (rpm). The M134 fires the standard 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge and utilizes a link-fed ammunition system (M13 Link). The M134 is driven from a self-contained battery power supply, or power provided from the platforms vehicle electrical system.

After the success with its gun mount system for AS532 COUGAR and the S70i/UH-60 BLACK HAWK helicopters, Unidef has launched a new product to integrate retractable weapon station that could be mounted on CH-47F windows and ramp. The Unidef solutions are designed to be easily integrated on air platforms without structural modifications.

Unidef continues the development of innovative gun mounts and interfaces with new solutions that could be also integrated on small boats and combat ships as well as a ground station with gun shield.
