The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems a $59.5 million contract for additional APKWS guidance kits to transform unguided 2.75-inch (70-millimeter) rockets into laser-guided precision munitions. Endeavor Robotics, the U.S.-based global leader in tactical ground robotics, was awarded the United States Department of Defense’s Man Transportable Robotic System Increment II (MTRS Inc. FLIR Systems, Inc. (FLIR) has been awarded a $6.8 Million firm-fixed-price order to deliver Black Hornet Personal Reconnaissance Systems (PRS) in support of the Australian Army. The units delivered under this contract will support platoon and troop level organic surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. USA, WB Group, one of the two biggest Polish Defence holding, unveils their new product for dismounted soldiers on the future battlefield. The system, U-GATE, uses augmented reality technology which superimposes computer generated images into the user’s field of view.
