Cloud Relay is a function of Wave Relay® that allows for an effective and seamless extension of the range of networks on which to communicate. Wave Relay® itself creates a rapidly converging network capable of providing seamless connectivity to each transceiver node on land, sea or in the air even in the most inclement conditions.

“The AUSA conference is the largest landpower exposition and professional development forum in North America that brings together the entire industry”, Persistent Systems, LLC co-founder and CEO Dr. Herbert H. Rubens explains. “We are truly excited to showcase our capabilities and unique technologies that have a track record of exceeding our customer’s expectations in the field. We are able to offer a secure and "true" mobile ad hoc networking system with our Wave Relay® product line, as well as remote access through Cloud Relay that provides a robust capability to receive data from any MANET group connected on the network. Cloud Relay has the reliability and capability of running data, voice, video, and other demanding applications under the most difficult and unpredictable conditions. We look forward to developing relationships and generating new business opportunities during this exciting event.”

CLOUD RELAY PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT AT AUSA 2013:
Introducing Cloud Relay: a single solution for a wide variety of communications problems. This technology works with Persistent Systems’ Wave Relay® by allowing long-range remote access to voice and data via one source. All it takes for the smooth transitional connection is internet access or a private network (i.e. SATCOM) somewhere through which traffic is routed across to get it to another MANET in different parts of a city, state, country or even different parts of the world. Cloud relay® allows multiple parties to monitor what is going on in the network. The entire Wave Relay® product line has the capability of running Cloud Relay.

Cloud Relay has huge benefits for the world of disaster response and special ops teams. This technology allows whole teams to receive data while on route to the operational area and has a seamless transition to communicating directly over Wave Relay® when the units arrive on scene. All of the data in the network is always in sync. The beauty in this technology is that it is all-autonomous with no operator intervention needed! For instance, when you need to provide surveillance over thousands of miles of terrain Cloud Relay can provide the link between multiple tracking systems allowing for seamless transition for flight and provide that crucial information to those that need it.

“This development essentially allows the Wave Relay® network to extend anywhere to meet our customers’ needs. The system is already proven over the internet, SATCOM, military radio infrastructure, cell phone radios, etc to provide reliable seamless connectivity for the entire network. If your application is remotely monitoring video throughout a large geographic region, monitoring equipment thousands of miles away, or simply connecting mobile units on the other side of town Cloud Relay with Wave Relay® is the technology you need.” explains Adrien Robenhymer, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing.
