Looking to equip its armed forces with cutting-edge weapons, China is reportedly developing electromagnetic rockets which could be more powerful and more precise than most artillery currently in use the world over.

Russian servicemen are learning to handle a China-made QBZ-95 (type 95 rifle) assault rifle on the sidelines of the International Army Games 2018, the Russian Defense Ministry has said. "Russian servicemen have practiced shooting with China-made QBZ-95 (type 95 rifle) assault rifles at the Korla test range in northwestern China. They had no difficulty in handling the weapon," the ministry said.

Masters of Artillery Fire contest, which is being held in stages in accordance with the plan within the framework of the International Military Games 2018, has started in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense said in a message.

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has delivered the first AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) that incorporates advanced high power and high efficiency gallium nitride (GaN) antenna technology, further improving the system’s operational capabilities. This system was delivered ahead of schedule and is the seventh G/ATOR system delivered in the low rate initial production (LRIP) phase of the program.
