Ukraine defense industry presents latest development of unmmaned aircraft “Gorlytsa” and unmanned ground vehicle "Phantom"to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov.

|
Multi-aircraft complex ”Gorlytsa” is designed by SE “Antonov”, in cooperation with local enterprises of Ukraine. This is the first domestic tactical unmanned complex, which can carry armament. It can flight to a maximum distance of 1,000 km.
The tactical unmanned multipurpose vehicle “Phantom” is a remotely operated mini armored carrier. The vehicle is fitted with day and night sighting systems which allows the vehicle to fire at any time of day/night at a maximum distance of 1 km. Its has an operational range of up to 20 km, it is operated by means of secure radio channel or via fiber cable of 5 km length. The “Phantom” can be used to transport ammunition, to carry wounded people from the battlefield and perform combat missions. The state defense Company UKROBORONPROM supplies Ukrainian armed forces with state-of-the-art unmanned combat vehicles. "We are constantly developing and implementing the newest armament and military equipment projects", said Director General of the State Concern Roman Romanov. The presentation was attended by Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Yuriy Allerov, NSDC First Deputy Secretary Mykhaylo Koval’, the Chief of Armaments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Shevtsov. |
