AM General receives a $ 356 million order for more than 1,600 Humvees

AM General, South Bend, Indiana, was awarded a $356,213,318 contract for 1,259 M1151A1B1 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs); and 414 M1152A1B2 Troop Enclosure HMMWVs in support of Afghanistan. The estimated completion date of the contract is July 29, 2017.
