The device itself weighs 3 tonnes and requires less than one hour to be mounted but only 30 seconds to be released. It clears two lanes of 1.20 meter wide each. The 16-ton Typhoon K-53949 on which the mine clearing device is mounted can reach 50 km/h in this configuration.

The 350 hp engine of the Typhoon K enables the vehicle to reach 105 km/h without the mine clearing device. Six people can take place in the vehicle.
