The exposition was composed of operational and perspective engineering systems that were shown in static display in various pavilions and at open sites of the Patriot Park, and demonstrated in action at the Alabino training range.

The participants in the Army 2018 forum saw, for the first time, the UBIM versatile armored engineering vehicle, the TMM-7 heavy mechanized bridge, the ISDM remote-controlled mining system, the BUM-2 impact drilling machine and advanced OVR-3Sh and OVR-2-02 mine-clearance systems with a high protection level and telecommunication and cooling systems.

In all, more than 60 items of engineering equipment were on display, in particular, the PPO-2I subsurface detector, the MG-1I deep-surface detector able to spot munitions at a depth of up to 5 meters, the perspective IMP-3 electrical detector capable of detecting explosive devices in waters at a depth of up to 10 meters, the MBI-P2 man-portable magnetometric mine detector designed to detect non-exploded ferromagnetic objects and other explosive devices both submerged and buried in the ground, and the TPVK-43 condensing exploder intended for electrical detonating of anti-personnel fragmentation landmines and explosive charges.
