In addition to the defense and security exhibition, Ukraine is also promoting protection and safety equipments through the Protection Technologies/FireTech-2017 Forum, a unique business platform for presentation of goods and services of domestic and foreign manufacturers of fire and man-made safety equipment.

Using the format of joint exhibitions facilitated their transformation to a large-scale international business forum that fully covers the entire complex of state security issues.

Accordingly, the number of participants has increased to reach almost 400 companies and organizations from 15 countries. More than 50 full scale products are being demonstrated, added the organizers. According them, representatives of 11 foreign defence departments expressed interest in visiting the exhibition.

Feature of this year’s military section is the significant growth of foreign participants. Thus, Pakistan national pavilion and a wide representation of Turkey’s state and private structures are attending for the first time. The presence of China and UAE has also been enhanced, while the traditionally high representation of Poland has also grown: apart from the military technology and special equipment manufacturers, direct participation of the Polish MoD – presentation of the KRAB self-propelled howitzer – was announced.
