Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $83,417,599 were obligated at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama is the contracting activity.

The Hunter is a heavy tactical UAV system for surveillance, reconnaissance, target acquisition, artillery adjustment and damage assessment.

Flying over the battlefield, it gathers ISR data in real time, and transmits it via wideband Tactical Common Data Link (TCDL) to commanders and soldiers on the ground who are able to communicate in real-time via Hunter’s Communications Relay Payload. Hunter’s multi-payload capability provides enhanced situational awareness and the ability to proactively plan and execute decisive combat operations.
