Iran unveils new drone Sarir H-110 armed with air-to-air missiles during military parade in Tehran.
The Iranian Air Defense Force displayed a new Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on the occasion of the National Army Day. The new drone, named Sarir (Throne) H-110 , was showcased in the military parades underway at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the Late Imam Khomeini, in Southern Tehran.

The new drone, named Sarir (Throne) H-110 , was showcased in the military parades underway at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the Late Imam Khomeini, in Southern Tehran.
The new Iranian-made Sarir H-110 was unveiled during a military parade in Tehran.
     

The drone, named Sarir (Throne) H110, carries cameras and air- to-air missiles, said Commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili.

Tens of Sarir H110 have so far been produced and Iran has started mass production of this model, said Esmaili, according to semi-official Fars news agency.

The Islamic republic also showcased a number of its home-made missiles. The air-to-surface missiles of Qased, Fakour and Qader as well as surface-to-surface missile of Zelzal were displayed in the parade.

Advanced radar systems and missile launching pads, which are the military hardware, were also displayed by Iranian Army Thursday.

Addressing the ceremony to mark the event, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad hailed the "might" and achievements of the army in the past few years, said the Iranians will maintain security of the Persian Gulf through a collective work of regional states.
