The China Electronics Technology Corporation (CETC) was a major exhibitor at this year’s event for the first time ever. In previous years at Airshow China, the exhibitors were limited to those firms that made aircraft and other air vehicles, but the electronics part of the military aerospace sector was left out.

The China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation (CASIC) introduced a wide range of new air defense missile systems including the export versions of HQ-9 and HQ-16 SAMs, and multiple cruise, ballistic and air to ground missiles.

Several companies displayed newer and more types of guided bombs, precision-guided munitions, air-to-surface weapons, anti-ship weapons, surface-to-air missiles, electronic warfare solutions UAVs, UGVs, satellite communication vehicles.

The Chinese Company Sany has launched a new 4x4 high protected mobility vehicle in the category of MRAP fitted with a new remotely operated weapon station armed with a 7.62mm machine and one 30mm automatic grenade launcher.

The Chinese company armoured manufacturer Yanjing Auto presents its full range of 4x4 armoured vehicle which seems very similar to the Russian made Tigr. The YJ2081 is a series of 4x4 armoured vehicle with a conventional layout, engine at the front, crew cab in the middle and a troop compartment at the rear.
