Belarus Defense Companies showcasing innovative developments at ADEX 2018


Belarus has presented innovative developments at the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2018 in Baku alongside Turkey, Russia and Israel. The Belarusian exposition, including advanced innovative projects, is one of the biggest at the show, the Belarusian State Military Industrial Committee said.

"The Belarusian exposition features a pretty wide spectrum of new advanced products which have been created with the use of modern innovative technologies," the committee went on to say.

It clarified that "full-scale ground-based and air-based robotics pieces and mockups of robotized equipment; fire damage systems and combat geo information systems, including mobile radio communication means, have been put on display in Baku".

The Belarusian exposition comprises products of optical and optical electronic instrument-making; mobile facilities, innovative developments in the field of electronic warfare and radar systems; on-board defense systems; and individual protection units of mobile facilities and infrastructure sites.

"The Belarusian enterprises will present their abilities to produce, modernize, repair and maintain arms and military hardware," the Belarusian State Military Industrial Committee said.

Belarus has delegated 13 organizations and companies to ADEX-2018. The Belspetsvneshtekhnika enterprise is the collective organizer of the united exhibition stand of the Belarusian State Military Industrial Committee while the OKB TSP innovative enterprise, the BelOMO holding companies and the Defense Initiatives enterprise have prepared separate individual expositions.

Roman Golovchenko, the head of the Belarusian State Military Industrial Committee, is heading the Belarusian delegation at the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2018, which was taking place in Baku on September 25-27.
