ADEX 2018: Turkish Defense Industry deepening ties with local companies


As ADEX 2018 opened its doors today at the Baku Expo Center, the Turkish Defense Industry is once again the biggest foreign delegation, illustrating strong ties with the "Azerbaijani brother".

Held at the initiative of the country's Ministry of Defence Industries and the support from Minist y of Defence of Azerbaijan Republic, is being held for the third time in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku between 25-27 September 2018. 

Organised in every two years, ADEX Fair was first held in the year 2014 and it stands as one of the most important defence fairs around South Caucasia and Middle Asia.

The fair hosts Turkish Defence Industries Exporters’ Association on behalf of the country with the leadership of Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), together with 33 defence industries companies mentioned below, with “Turkish National Pavillion” concept in total 1659 m2 area enlarged up to 30% compared with the previous participation covering almost half of the current fair area. President of Defence Industries Prof. Dr. Ismail DEMIR is leading the Turkish Committee.

At ADEX 2018, the Turkish delegation includes AKSA RUN FLAT; ANOVA; ARGERF; ASELSAN; AVS; BMC; DEARSAN; DESAN; DLG TACTICAL; GARANTİ GİYİM; GİRSAN; HOYTEK; İŞBİR; KALE KALIP; KAREL; MAKTEL;MANAS; MESAN; MILSOFT; MKEK; OTOKAR; ÖZTEK; ROKETSAN; RST; SİMSOFT; STM; TAIS; TEK. MÜH.; TİSAŞ; TRANSVARO; TAI; UNIFO; and YAKUPOĞLU.

During Fair, there Turkish companies present and introduce armoured vehicle platforms, manned or unmanned varied aircrafts, marine systems, weapon systems, electronic systems, ammunition, simulators, military textile products, logistic support systems and defence services.

In course of the Fair, Turkish official delegation will first hold meetings with the hosting country Republic of Azerbaijan along with many countries.
