Streit Group to display full range of modern armoured personnel carrier at ADEX 2014.
September 11th to 13th will see STREIT Group demonstrating its armored vehicles range to a new audience, as the company exhibits in Azerbaijan for the first time during the ADEX 2014, International Defence Industry Exhibition in Baku.

Azerbaijan has been a strategically important location for many centuries, today, the progress seen in Azerbaijan’s defence industry, regions economy as a whole and its relationships with neighbouring countries makes Azerbaijan an attractive market.

STREIT Group’s Chief Executive Guerman Goutorov says: “In this region there is a growing need for defence products and services to protect against ever increasing security threats. We will be introducing to Azerbaijan a range of security solutions specifically designed to address particular concerns, and we believe that our fresh approach will be welcomed by customers in the region.”

A variety of STREIT Group Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) will be on display at ADEX 2014, including the popular Spartan Light Armored Vehicle (LAV). Like all STREIT vehicles it is available in a variety of configurations to meet a variety of operational scenarios and 4x4 capability designed to cope with extreme off-road conditions.

The Puma 4x4 APC features protection against ballistic and blast threats up to STANAG 4569, Level B6 and can be upgraded to B7.

Optional equipment on Cobra 4x4 APC displayed at ADEX will include a ladder system allowing access to buildings and aircraft assault. In addition the Cobra’s impressive off-road performance and agility is combined with excellent blast and ballistic protection.

Finally there is the Cougar - the most competitevley priced Level B6 Armored Personel Carrier on the market. Despite the low cost, the vehicle offers unparralel protection and safety, is extremely reliable and can handle the most challenging of terrains.
