The German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann presented the Dingo 2 at HEMUS 2008.

The wheeled armoured vehicle Dingo 2 is the most secure and best protected wheeled vehicle of its class. Its outstanding protection level and state-of-the-art equipment allow it to be deployed for the most varied mission under any climatic conditions around the globes. Many countries in West and East europe chose it the Dingo 2, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, and Luxembourg. The German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann try to conquer a new market in Bulgaria.

Le véhicule blindé à roues Dingo 2 est le véhicule le plus sécurisé et disposant de la meilleure protection ballistique dans sa catégorie. Son niveau de protection exceptionnel et ses équipements de dernière génération lui permettent d'être déployé pour un nombre varié de misions sous n'importe quel condition climatique dans le monde entier. Plusieurs pays de l'Europe de l'Est et de l'Ouest ont choisi le Dingo 2, l'Allemagne, l'Autriche, la Belgique, la République Tchèque et le Luxembourg. Shooting demonstration at HEMUS 2008.

New ammunition and anti-tank guided missiles will be tested in the demonstration shooting at the Central Artillery Test range (CATTR) in the village of Zmeevo near Stara Zagora. The demonstration aim to reveal the capacity of the test range as a testing and qualifying facility for new products.

Présentation de nouvelles munitions et de missiles antichar guidé qui onté été testés sur la zone de tir du Centre de Test de l'Artillerie dans le village de Zmeevo, près de la ville de Stara Zagora. Le but de la démonstration est de présenter les capacités du centre d'essai et le service de qualification des produits.

Association with Bulgarian company, EADS and Belgian company, for the IIF Radar

At Hemus 2008, the Bulgarian Company Bitova Electronika presented the Identification Friend or FOE Systems IFF. This system is an association with EADS, a Belgian Company who make the radar and the control components and the Bulgarian company Bitovo Electronika who install the Radar system to the Russian truck Ural.
The system provide identification and surveillance for friends with on board GIS system, digital 3D terrain based radar position planning and GPS time positioning subsystem.

 
Association entre une société Bulgare, EADS et une société belge pour le Radar IIF.

Au Hemus 2008, la société bulgare Bitova Electronika présente le radar IFF d'identification pour les systèmes amis. Ce système est une association entre EADS, une société belge qui construit le radar et les composants de contrôle et la compagnie Bulgare Bitovo Electronika qui monte l'ensemble sur un camion d'origine russe Ural.
Le système fourni une identification et de la surveillance des éléments amis grâce à un système GIS, avec vision 3D du terrain et un système de GPS.

 

Pearson Engineering from United Kingdom at Hemus 2008.

Pearson Engineering is a privately owned UK company that develops combat engineer systems and equipment to meet the needs of both British and foreign armed forces. The particular expertise of Pearson Engineering is the development and supply of specialised countermine and combat engineer equipment for armoured fighting vehicles.Perason Engineering have also a small team dedicated to providing solutions for the de-mining industry.
One the product of Pearson engineering is the Mineplough.
The Mineplough
is used to rapidly breach mined obstacles by creating a mine free path for subsequent vehicles to follow. A raking action brings mines to the surface and moves them to each side of the vehicle. The Mineplough can be fitted to any main battle tank or engineer tank.
Another product is the Light Weight Mine Roller.
The Light Weight Mine Roller (LWMR) is available in track-width configuration to provide vehicle self protection, and full-width configuration to prove a route for both the host vehicle and subsequent traffic.
The LWMR is fitted with on-board hydraulic powerpacks, or without if hydraulic power is built into the vehicle.
The LWMR is fitted to the vehicle with a simple mounting system which is common to the Surface Clearance Device (SCD) and Obstacle Clearance Blade (OCB).

 
La société britannique Pearson Engineering à HEMUS 2008.

La société Pearson Engineering est une société privé britannique qui développe des systèmes et des équipements de combat pour le génie, suivant les demandes de l'armée britannique ou d'armées étrangères.
L'expertise particulière de Pearson Engineering est le dévelopement et la livraison de systèmes contre les mines et d'équipements de génie pour montage sur véhicules blindés. Pearson Engineering dispose également d'une équipe qui fournit des solutions de déminage pour les industries de déminage.
Un des produits de la société Pearson Engineering est la charrue anti-mines "Mineplough".
Le système "Mineplough", permet de créer un accès dans un champ de mines en créant un chemin dans le sol pour ouvrir l'accès à d'autres véhicules. La charrue gratte le sol pour amener les mines à la surface et les déplacer de chaque côté du véhicule. La charrue anti-mines peut être montée sur tous les véhicules blindés ou véhicule du génie.
Un autre produit le rouleau anti-mine léger, "Light Weight Mine Roller".
Le système de rouleau anti-mines léger est disponible en version pour véhicule chenillé afin de fournir une protection individuelle, et configuration large pour ouvrir un itinéraire pour des véhicules de pointe ou le traffic principal.
Le LWMR est équipé d'un système embarqué de puissance hydraulique , ou sans puissance hydraulique, qui est fournit par le véhicule.
Le LWMR est fixé au véhicule avec un système de montage simple qui est compatible avec les autres produits de Pearson Engineering, Surface Clearance Device (SCD) et Obstacle Clearance Blade (OCB).

 

First day for the International Defence Equipment exhibition 2008

One again, the International Defence Equipment Exhibition HEMUS will bring together leading Bulgarian and foreign companies. The eight edition of the prestigious forum will be held from 28 - 31 May 2008 at the Fairgrounds of International Fair Plovdiv.
A total of 103 companies (55 Bulgarian and 48 foreign ones) take part in the event.
The participating companies are from 20 countries : Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Ukraine and United States.
Trade visitors from over 25 countries worldwide are expected to attend HEMUS 2008. The anticipated growth in the visitors number is 20% compared to the previous edition of the exhibition in 2006.
Shooting demonstration, with new ammunition and anti-tank guided missiles will be tested in the demonstration shooting at the Central Artillery Technical Test range in the village of Zmeevo near Stara Zagora.
Demonstration of clothing and gear of the Soldier of the Future, within the Hemus 2008, participants and visitors will have the opportunity to see the new offers of the manufacturers of clothing, footwear, equipment and armament for the modern soldier.

 
Premier jour du salon International des Equipements de Défense, HEMUS 2008.

Une fois de plus le Salon International des Equipements de Défense HEMUS rassemblera des sociétés de défense bulgares et étrangères. La huitième édition du forum se déroulera du 28 - 31 May 2008 dans les bâtiments de la foire internationale de Plovdiv.
Au total, 103 compagnies (55 bulgares et 48 étrangères) prendront part à cet évenement.
Les sociétés participantes proviennent de 20 pays : Bulgarie, Danermark, Finlande, France, Allemagne, Grèce, Iran, Israël, Italie, Luxembourg, Norvège, Pologne, Russie, Espagne, Suède, Suisse, Turquie, Angleterre, Ukraine, Etats Unis.
Des visiteurs profesionnels provenant de 20 pays sont attendu au HEMUS 2008.
La croissance de visiteurs par rapport à l'édition 2006 devrait passer à plus de 20%.
Le Hemus 2008, c'est également une démonstration de tir, avec présentation de nouvelles munitions et de missiles antichar guidés qui se déroulera sur la zone de démonstration de tir du Centre Technique et de Test d'Artillerie dans le village de Zmeevo, près de Stara Zagora.
Démonstration des dernières technologies en matières d'uniformes de combat, d'équipements et d'armements de soldat du futur.

The International Defence Equipment Exhibition HEMUS 2008

The International Defense Equipment Exhibition HEMUS takes place every two years in the end of May under the direction of an Organizing Committee presided by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria. It is organized jointly by International Fair Plovdiv JSC and Foundation Hemus’95 on the territory of the fair village.
From 28 to 31 May 2008, the exhibition shall present its eighth edition. The interest in this event that has already become a tradition keeps growing.
The main event organized in parallel with Hemus is the International Conference on Defense Research and Technology. It will celebrate its fourth edition in 2008. Witness of the great interest in this event is the participation of an extraordinary number of foreign scientists.
Another event that attracts a lot of interest is the shooting demonstration at the Central Artillery Technical Test Range. Beside the features of the range itself, there are demonstrated the latest achievements of companies which work in the field of light arms, artillery, antitank, air defense and missile armament.

 
Le salon international des équipements de défense HEMUS 2008.

Le salon international des équipements de défense HEMUS se déroule tous les deux ans sous la direction du Ministère de la défense de Bulgarie et le comité d'organisation du Hemus. Il est organisé en partenariat avec le centre d'exposition de Plovdiv et la fondation "Hemus 95" sur le territoire de la ville de Plovdiv, Bulgarie.
Du 28 au 31 Mai 2008, se déroulera la huitième édition du salon HEMUS. Ce qui prouve l'intérêt pour cet événement, et est devenu une tradition.
Le principal événement organisé en parallèle avec le HEMUS, et la conférence international sur les recherches et technologies de défense, qui célébrera sa quatrième édition en 2008. Le témoin du grand intérêt de cet événement, est la participation d'un grand nombre de délégations étrangères.
Un autre événement très intéressant, est la démonstration de tir qui se fera au Centre Technique et de Test de l'Artillerie. Près des installations de la zone de démonstration, les compagnies pourront présentées leurs dernières technologies en matière d'armes légères, d''artillerie, de missiles antichars et de défense antiaérienne.
