Video: Live firing tests EMAV-LW30 UGV armed with M230LF 30mm cannon



A video released by Northrop Grumman on February 2, 2022, that was recorded during its Bushmaster Users Conference 2021, the American company Northrop Grumman has conducted live firing tests with its M230LF 30x113 mm Chain Gun mounted on Pratt Miller’s EMAV-LW30 UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) that can be used as C-UAS (Counter-Unmanned Aerial System) and to engage ground targets.

During a live firing demonstration, the Northrop Grumman M230LF 30mm Chain Gun mounted on the EMAV-LW30 UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) has fired Northrop Grumman’s suite of advanced ammunition, including the XM1211 High Explosive Proximity-fuzed round and the XM1198 High Explosive Dual Purpose, Self-Destruct round defeating light ground targets.
