Ukraine has launched Verba new generation of BM-21 Grad MLRS Multiple Launch Rocket System
The leading UKROBORONPROM manufacturer “Kharkiv Morozov Machine-Building Design Bureau” of Ukraine has launched the latest system of MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) “Verba” which is, according to its developers, a new generation of the famous Soviet-made BM-21 Grad.

The new Ukrainian-made Verba 122mm MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System)
     
The ne modernized rocket launcher system is mounted on KrAZ 6x6 truck chassis and equipped with cabin for 5 people. Fire control, aiming and even recharge are performed automatically from the cabin, without soldiers’ direct intervention. The weight of the new MLRS is nearly 20 tons, though “Verba” can increase the speed up to 85 km / h.

“The time has come to stop following Soviet past and start looking to the future. “Verba” is the kind of weapon that the army is to be supplied with in production quantities", - said UKROBORONPROM Director General Roman Romanov.

For the year of the new leadership UKROBORONPROM increased military equipment production by 36 times, compared with the previous period, systematically providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the latest armament samples.
