Russian Company Tractors Plants Concern to unveil new BT-3F tracked amphibious armoured APC.
Russia`s Tractor Plants Concern (Russian acronym: TZ, Traktornie Zavody) will unveil the newest BT-3F tracked amphibious armored personnel carrier (APC) at the Army 2016 military-technical forum, according to the press department of the company.

"The Concern will exhibit the upgraded 2S25 Sprut-SD air-droppable self-propelled anti-tank gun (SPATG) being developed under the Sprut-SDM1 program, the BT-3F tracked amphibious APC, the BMP-3 Dragun (Dragoon) infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) equipped with the "100+30" remote controlled weapon station (RCWS) and rear apparel, and other armoured vehicles developed by the company," an official spokeperson for the Tractor Plant Concern said.

The BT-3F tracked amphibious APC is developed on the base of the BMP-3F (F stands for Marinized, Flotskaya) IFV intended for the Russian Navy`s Naval Infantry. The development of the vehicle started in 2010 under the program "BMP-3-based APC design work". According to open sources, BT-3F features a crew of 2 tankers and a passenger capacity of 15 mounted soldiers. The vehicle is supposed to replace the ageing MT-LB tracked armoured tractors.
