The international arms exhibition Oboronexpo 2014 is taking place in the city of Zhukovsky near Moscow from August 13 to 17. Apart from Russia, visiting delegations include Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Germany, India, China, the United States, France, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.

Eight foreign companies and 212 Russian military equipment producers will participate in an international forum on the theme of "Technologies in Engineering-2014" and an "OboronExpo-2014" arms exhibition.

There will be enterprises from Germany, France, and the United Sates among them, an official in the press service of Russia's Federal Service for Technical Military Cooperation (FSTMC) told Itar-Tass.

The FSTMC announcement said, "The exhibition has drawn 212 Russian companies (forty-nine of them, including nine technical military cooperation ones, will display products of military purpose), as well as eight foreign companies from Belarus, Germany, India, China, the USA, and France".

According to FSTMC data, the demonstration programme will be based on 38 military equipment of the Russian Ministry of Defence, including 14 ones to be displayed within the framework of the military patriotic programme "Invincible and Legendary".
