In August 2020 Avon Protection was awarded a 10-year contract by the NATO Support & Procurement Agency (NSPA). In December 2020 they received the first order under this framework contract. The NSPA framework contract allows NATO countries and partners to purchase Avon Protection’s market-leading CBRN respiratory protection system, based around FM50, filters, MP-PAPR, ST53, and accessories. This contract is anticipated to bring in several orders in its first year and will continue to contribute to Avon Protection’s success over the next 10 years. Avon Protection has long term contracts for the M50 mask, M69 aircrew mask and M53A1 mask and powered air system, confirming our position as the leading supplier of respiratory protection for the U.S. DOD. In 2018, Avon Protection launched the MCM100, a deep-diving (100m CE rated), air and mixed gas, electronic control rebreather. The MCM100 rebreather was designed and developed around the diver, to deliver enhanced multi-role capability in the form of a new long-endurance, electronically controlled rebreather capable of integrating with a range of military diving applications, in particular mine warfare and Special Forces, including Covert Subsurface Infiltration, Submarine Release & Infiltration and Manned Underwater Vehicle Operations. The launch of the MCM100 heralds a revolutionary change in rebreather technology, placing two key elements at the heart of the platform; diver safety and multi-role mission capability. This depth of understanding and specialization has been applied to the MCM100, ensuring that it is a true multi-role rebreather, with upgradable and future-proofed technology pathways, representing world-leading technology, extended service life, and lower support costs. Consequently, itis no surprise that at the beginning of 2018, once the product had been launched, it was announced that Avon Protection had been awarded the contract to supply a EuropeanArmed Forces with MCM100 underwater rebreathers, together with in service support. |

C50 Mask System
The Avon C50 protective mask is based on the U.S. M50/JSGPM (Joint Services General Purpose Mask) and sharing key technologies, provides maximum operational flexibility to counter multiple threat scenarios, including chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological (CBRN) agents, Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs), and Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs).
The C50 offers high protection, an outstanding field of vision, and superior comfort. The innovative design features optimize the user's time in the operational area.

FM50 Mask System
The FM50 is part of the latest generation of Avon CBRN full face mask, specifically designed to meet the latest NATO forces military mask requirements.
It has been developed to counter the multiple CBRN threats encountered in modern warfare, anti-terrorist and peace-keeping operations.
The twin filter conformal system sits close against the face, providing the wearer with high protection and very low breathing resistance. Twin filters also make it a much more comfortable mask to wear and also allows greater ease of weapon deployment.
Outstanding vision is provided with the introduction of Avon Protection's new wide panoramic flexible visor which is the result of our new bonding technology that incorporates both visual clarity and integral durability and easy fluid intake.
ST54 SCBA
Avon’s state-of-the-art ST54™ Tactical Operator SCBA has been developed specifically for the tactical officer and technician applications where the operator needs to respond to ever changing operational conditions.
The ST54™ SCBA is the base to a multi-mission Respiratory Protection System which provides for operational flexibility to the operator and mission commanders in the field to tailor the PPE response based on the available intelligence. Depending on the threat or operational situation at the scene of an incident, the ST54 SCBA can be configured to provide the appropriate protection.
The ST54™ SCBA combines Avon Protection Systems’ M53A1, FM53 and FM54 respirators (see respirator datasheets for further details) with new and innovative modular breathing apparatus technology to provide positive pressure SCBA and/or PAPR capability.
MCM100 Underwater Rebreather
Avon Protection offers the World’s most advanced underwater life-support capability for global military divers. Delivering superior diver safety, usability & functionality.
The MCM100 is Avon Protection’s state of the art electronically controlled, closed-circuit, mixed gas military rebreather. Developed in collaboration with the UK’s Defence Science & Technology Laboratory (Dstl) and the Royal Norwegian Navy, the MCM100 is designed to excel in both shallow and deep water military diving applications; optimized for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Mine Counter Measures (MCM) and Special Operations diving.
The market-leading MCM100 delivers true multi-role military rebreather capability, incorporating cutting edge technology and innovative operational features, to deliver significantly enhanced diver safety and extended mission duration.
CS-PAPR
The Avon CS-PAPR™ is the newest generation of CBRN Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) designed for use in Combination Unit Respirators.
The capability to change levels of protection dependent on the threat, now provides the wearer with increased duration on target and safer operation.
Utilizing the Avon MP-PAPR module along with the patented combination hose module, the wearer can seamlessly switch between APR, PAPR and SCBA modes of protection. The single air hose connection for all modes allows the wearer to retain a clear mask cheeks for optimum weapon sighting.
Modular Methodology allows the user to either add the Avon CS-PAPR to existing fielded systems such as the FM53/4 APR and ST53 SCBA, use as a regular PAPR (Avon MP-PAPR) or revert back to the Avon EZAir configuration.
