To promote the international defense
technology market in our country.

technology, at one single event.

closer to the Armed Forces, the
Peruvian National Police and to
the general public.
- To consolidate the National Industry’s
participation, especially small
and medium sized businesses, and
to strengthen their support for
the Armed Forces logistics.
- To insert Peru into the circuit
of similar high level events, under
international standards.
- To strengthen Regional Relations
amongst countries.
- To contribute to the modernization
of the Armed Forces and the Peruvian
National Police.
- To achieve greater participation
from political, military and civil
authorities in National Defense
issues.
- To inform public opinion and raise
awareness in order to create a National
Defense Culture.

2009 it's also the Exhibition of
NATURAL DISASTER PREVENTION
It has been decided that the new
edition of Sitdef 2009 will include
a new very important issue which
involves our region, “Natural
Disaster Prevention”. Due
to its geographical location our
country is a scenario for natural
phenomena and many of these may
become disasters when they directly
affect the population. Due to recent
events affecting the region, Sitdef
is very interested in gathering
companies which wish to become involved
in these issues in order to create
a prevention culture in the face
of possible disasters.
