Libya has submitted a request to the Turkish government to buy 20,000 G3 assault rifle in an attempt to strengthen to national army. The G3 is a 7.62×51mm NATO battle rifle developed in the 1950s by the German armament manufacturer Heckler & Koch GmbH. The G3 is produced produced under license in Turkey by the the Turkish defense Company MKE.

Thales Australia and Diehl to co-develop an intensive munition variant of hand grenade
 

Thales-owned Australian Munitions and German company Diehl have signed an agreement to co-develop an insensitive munitions variant of the Australian in-service fragmentation hand grenade. Insensitive Munitions (IM) are designed to only detonate when deployed against a target, and will not detonate as a result of mechanical shocks, fire or impact from shrapnel.

Singapore and Australian army conducted bilateral armour military exercise codenamed Matilda
 

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and Australian Defence Force (ADF) conducted a bilateral armour exercise, codenamed Matilda, at the Mount Bundey Training Area in Darwin, Australia. About 100 personnel from the 48th battalion, Singapore Armoured Regiment (48 SAR) and their Leopard 2SG Main Battle Tanks (MBTs) were involved in the training with their Australian counterparts from the 1st Armoured Regiment.

The Project Manager for the U.S. Stryker Brigade Combat Team received the approval from the Army Acquisition Executive to begin the procurement of a 3rd brigade of Stryker Double V-Hull vehicles. The United States Army currently has nine Stryker Brigade Combat Teams with the traditional flat-bottom hull, and two with the newer Double V-Hull, or DVH, design.
