Today opening of Partner 2015 International Fair of Armament & Military Equipment in Serbia.
Today opening of the International Fair of Armament and Military Equipment, Partner 2015 which takes places in Belgrade (Serbia) from the 23 to 26 June 2015. As in past years, the general sponsor of this year’s manifestation is the Ministry of Defence, co-organizer is Yugoimport-SDPR, and the executive organizer is the Belgrade Fair.
     
     
The opening ceremony was attended by the Serbian Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašic and the General Manager of Yugoimport Mister Jugoslav Petkovic.
 
 

This manifestation is particularly important because it presents together the research, development, testing, production and overhaul capacities of Serbian MoD, with factories of defence industry of Serbia and other national scientific, research and production institutions, whose mutual task is providing equipment for the Armed Forces of Serbia and other subjects of the defence system for execution of their missions and tasks, in response to modern challenges and threats to Serbia.

Military equipment and combat vehicle are displayed on 17,600 square meters of exhibition space in halls and 5,000 square meters of open exhibition space, with over 100 direct exhibitors and 6,000 registered visitors.

The main sponsor of the Partner 2015 is the Serbian Defense Company YugoImport which presents a full range of military equipment and combat vehicles in a large inside and outside area at the Belgrade Fair Exhibition Center.

This year, during the official visit of the exhibition, Yugoimport has unveiled two new products, the SOVA, a four seats trainer and light attack aircraft which can carry 2x100kg payload of armament which can include two aerial bombs of 50 kg each or two 7.62mm gun pods or two 57mm rockets launchers.

The second new product of Yugoimport at Partner 2015 is the PREMAX 39 a multirole patrol boat which designed and built specifically for patrol, interception, boarding, and combat. The design of the boat is based on marine grade aluminium. Hull and framing are made of marine grade qaluminium 5083, where are applied TIG and MIG welding procedures.

The front of the boat is armed with a small turret armed with one 20 mm automatic cannon, an heavy machine gun of 12.7mm caliber is fitted at the rear, and each side of the boat is armed with light 7.62mm machine gun and 30mm automatic grenade launcher.
