Iran unveils a new home-made anti-cruise missile system Asefeh 23mm Gatling cannon
 

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force has designed and built an anti-cruise missile weapon system, named as Asefeh Project. Asefeh was unveiled during a visit by IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari to an exhibition of the latest military achievements of the IRGC Ground Force’s Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad Organization in Tehran on Monday, November 18, 2013.

MBDA delivers first MPCV Multi-Purpose Combat Vehicle fitted with Mistral missile
 

MBDA has just completed the integration and factory acceptance test of the first Multi-Purpose Combat Vehicle (MPCV) vehicles designed to operate the Mistral surface to air missile. Built for export, these vehicles represent the first production batch. In the next few days, they will be shipped for delivery to the customer country before the end of the year, as announced at the contract signing in February 2011.

The 88th Test and Evaluations Squadron received the first set of Guardian Angel Air-Deployable Rescue Vehicles in the Air Force's inventory Nov. 12. The GAARV is a multi-purpose utility vehicle intended to help combat search and rescue teams retrieve individuals that have been isolated and can expand the ability to quickly reach further into the battle space to provide a more mobile rescue capability.

Thailand could purchase FD-2000 air defense missile systems and CS/VP3 MRAP from China
 

During the Defense & Security 2013 exhibition which took place at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center of Bangkok from Nov. 4 until Thursday, the FD-2000 was presented to the Royal Thai Armed Forces along with other advanced weapon systems such as the FL-3000N short-range Close-in Weapon System and the FK-1000 Short To Medium Range Air Defense System.

Rheinmetall to supply 103 Leopard 2A4 tanks and 43 Marder 1A3 infantry armoured to Indonesia
 

The Indonesian Ministry of Defence has contracted with the Rheinmetall Group of Düsseldorf to supply it with 103 Leopard 2A4 main battle tank and 43 Marder 1A3 tracked armoured infantry fighting vehicles , logistical support and ammunition worth roughly €216 million. The contract, which was signed in December 2012, now comes into full force following the successful completion of all legal formalities.

Ukraine has supplied the first batch of five Oplot main battle tanks produced at Ukraine's state-owned Malyshev Plant (Kharkiv) to Thailand under a contract signed in 2011. Estimates place the total energy consumption of the Department of Defense to be on par with the state of Oregon and greater than two-thirds of all countries.
