North Korean regards these military exercises as a threat for their country. If the region were to blaze up, it would be the fault of the United States and of South Korea, affirmed the North Korean government.

This Tuesday, November 23, 2010, North Korea bombarded the island of Yeonpyeong, killing four people, and wounding twenty others, causing a response of the South Korean army. Since the war of Korea (1950 - 1953), there was a relative peace between the two countries.

The United States confirmed their support for the North Korea, and do not intend to cancel the next naval operations in the area.
