"The Magnolia self-propelled artillery gun (SAO) based on the DT-30PM has been developed, its state tests are planned to be completed in 2022," the concern informed. As noted in UVZ, prototypes of self-propelled guns are now undergoing preliminary tests.

SJSC "Magnolia" on the chassis of the armored two-link tracked transporter DT-30PM was created at the Central Research Institute "Burevestnik" within the framework of the "Sketch" development work (ROC). In addition to this gun, the family also includes the 82mm Drok self-propelled mortar and the 120mm CAO on the Flox truck chassis.

In November 2019, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces, General of the Army Oleg Salyukov, in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper, said that the development of a whole line of highly mobile artillery and mortar weapons on various types of chassis, including for operations in the Arctic region, is being completed within the framework of the Sketch development, which will provide an increase in the mobility and fire capabilities of the battalion's artillery.
