Polish Defence Holding showcases its portable missiles at MSPO 2013
At MSPO 2013, Polish Defence Holding is showcasing its Grom anti-aircraft missile and the anti-tank Spike LR (Long-Range). Both systems have the Fire and Forget capability and are in use with the Polish Army

The Grom "Thunder" missile consists of a single-stage projectile, a single-use tubular launcher, a starting mechanism, and an on-ground power supply. The rocket projectile uses solid propellant. The infrared aiming sensor is cooled with liquid nitrogen. There are options for identification friend or foe and thermovision. The system has a range of 5.5km and weight 18.5kg.

The Spike-LR is produced by PDH under license from Israeli firm Rafael. Poland has a total of 2,675 Spike-LR missiles and 264 launchers. The Spike system is made up of the launching tripod with its fire control unit and the missile. There is no dedicated thermal sight on the launcher, the missile's imaging seeker is used. Altogether, the long range variant of the system weighs around 26 kg.
