Poland's largest exhibition of modern equipment and armaments being used by the Polish Armed Forces, evacuation of damaged fighting vehicles from the battle field, dynamic demonstrations of training operations carried out by military subunits preparing for their missions in Afghanistan and Chad, National Exhibitions of the Vysehrad group countries, scientific conferences and trade seminars.
 
All these things will be put on display during the 17th International Defence Industry Exhibition to take place in Kielce from 31st August to 3rd September 2009, which is one of Europe's most important and largest military fairs. Over 300 exhibitors from 25 countries will use nearly 20,000 square metres of exhibition space during the MSPO 2009 Exhibition. This year's exhibition will be held under the auspices of the minister of national defence, Bogdan Klich, who will officially open the Exhibition.
The Exhibition is accompanied by the 15th International Logistics Fair LOGISTYKA, which will feature dynamic demonstrations of support operations carried out by our soldiers in their missions as well as the key elements indispensable for ensuring logistic support for the military contingent operating in foreign countries, in demanding terrain and climatic conditions, e.g. field kitchen KPZ 170, container kitchen, refrigerating container, water tanks, field filling station MPS based on long-distance pipelines, as well as uniforms, medical equipment and materials, communication and computer-aided command systems, equipment for the Fire Brigade, Civil Defence, as well as special equipment for the Boarder Guards and Police.
