In 2016, Revision Military will supply UK soldiers with new head sub-systems kit as part of the Virtus program. The custom head protection solution, known as the Batlskin Cobra Plus, is the lightest, most adaptable system ever made, providing premium head and face protection.

The Cobra Plus Helmet, with its new Modular Suspension System Liner, exceeds the UK’s stringent ballistic and impact helmet requirements and can be coupled with the Modular Protective Attachment System (MPAS) for full face, scalable protection. The fully integrated, fully modular suite allows soldiers to up armor with the Batlskin Visor and Ballistic Mandible Guard in high threat situations or scale down when only helmet and eye protection are needed.

The battle-tested ballistic Sawfly Military Spectacles or rugged Wolfspider Goggles provide fog-free, optically flawless, durable coverage when full face coverage is not required. This flexible facial protection solution is equally suitable meeting riot control scenarios as it is fulfilling different mission requirements on the battlefield.

“Revision is extremely pleased to have been selected to supply this technology-driven head protection system for UK soldiers” said Jonathan Blanshay, CEO, Revision Military. “This fully integrated and fully modular protective system is a result of intense R&D efforts and highest quality manufacturing. We are confident it offers the best in comfort, protection, durability and flexibility for the mission at hand whether on the battlefield or during peace-keeping assignments.”

Revision has developed best-in class ballistic test ranges at each of its manufacturing facilities that are capable of meeting all requirements specified for eyewear and head protection systems. These facilities are equipped with leading edge measuring instruments that ensure accurate measurement of projectile velocity and feature high speed camera systems that allow Revision to accurately investigate material reaction to projectile impact.
