The Ukrainian airborne company of 79 AABr and the tank platoon of 14 SMBr engaged several times the "aggressor". During the clashes, several enemy Abrams tanks were “killed”. Without significant losses, the joint subunit of the Ukrainian armed forces managed to reach the point of destination. It should be noted that, during these exercises, the multiple integrated laser combat simulation system MILES was used.

The T-84 tanks engaged in the exercises had been repaired and upgraded by UkrOboronProm in its Malyshev Plant and the Kharkiv Morozov Machine-Building Design Bureau. The T-84 Oplot main battle tank is the result of continued development by the Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau, which is Ukraine's leading design authority for armoured fighting vehicles. It is based on a T-80UD, but has a number of advanced features which distinguish it from the T-80UD. The armament includes a 125mm gun, 7.62mm coaxial machine gun and 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun.
