The Leer-2 automated system mounted on the Tiger all-terrain vehicle is unique and has no counterparts in the world. It is intended to detect enemy radio emitters and jam enemy electronic means.

In addition, the Leer-2 can generate a realistic jamming environment, simulate the operation of various electronic means, as well as evaluate the electromagnetic environment. Such a system is capable of operating in close proximity to the front line of enemy troops, which significantly increases its effectiveness.

The crew of the 8-ton armored car consists of 2 men, the driver and the operator. The highway speed is 140 km/h. The vehicle’s armor protects against machine-gun fire and grenade bursts.

With the beginning of the summer period of training, in the course of tactical exercises and tactical and special drills, the military EW specialists will learn in detail how to set up and tear down the Leer-2 system, conduct electronic intelligence and jam the adversary electronic facilities.
