More than 400 military dog handlers will join Russian Armed Forces
More than 400 military dog handlers with theirs war dogs will join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Russia. This was reported to journalists at the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

"More than 400 dog handlers have graduated today from the Russian Ministry of Defense’s 470th Woring Dogs Training Center and will join the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. The junior working dog handlers together with their dogs completed a full course of training in the guard and mine detection service," the Military department said.

According to the Ministry of Defense, on May 15 the graduates with their dogs will go to military units. German, East European, South-Russian, Central Asian and Caucasian shepherd dogs, as well as Rottweilers and Black Terriers will keep guard and carry out mine detection work. The 470th Working Dogs Training Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense is the single educational institution in the Russian Armed Forces that trains dog handlers.
