Oshkosh Defense to supply missile transporters and trucks to Qatar and Kuwait


On 16 March, the US Department of Defense awarded a contract to Oshkosh Defense for missile transporters and trucks under foreign military sales for Qatar and Kuwait.

“Oshkosh Defense LLC, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, has been awarded a $15,394,185 firm-fixed-price foreign military sales (Qatar and Kuwait) contract to procure various version of its HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) 8x8 truck: M985A4 guided missile transporters with cranes, M985A4 cargo trucks, Multiple-Launch Rocket System resupply trucks, M984A4 HEMTT wreckers, M983A4 HEMTT tractors and associated outside the continental U.S. training,” the statement says.

One bid was solicited with one bid received. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2019.
