National Guard of Venezuela will receive more Chinese-made Norinco VN4 4x4 armoured vehicles.
The National Guard of the Venezuelan army will receive a new batch of Chinese-made VN4 4x4 armoured vehicles personnel carrier. A picture releases on Internet shows dozen of these vehicles with the insignia of the Venezuelan National Guard were observed some few days ago transported on a train in an unspecified place in China.

In 2012, the Venezuelan National Guard has acquired 141 VN4 vehicles from the Chinese Company NORINCO (China North Industries Corp.), in different versions as armoured personnel carrier and reconnaissance vehicles. Last December, another batch was sent in Venezuela to be used as law enforcement and public order vehicle.

The Chinese VN4 4x4 wheeled armoured vehicle which is especially designed to be used by fast reaction forces, armored troops, police force or also for peacekeeping and anti-terrorism missions.

The VN4 can be armed with a wide range of armament as 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun.
     

Since 2012, the VN4 APC is in service with the Venezuelan National Guard.
