"The total amount of budgetary allocations for Russia’s state defense industry development program will equal 1.67 trillion rubles," Rogozin said.

Speaking about the state defense order fulfillment in the Far Eastern Federal District, Rogozin said that the order volume totaled 1.8 trillion rubles ($27.5 billion).

According to the deputy prime minister, the output has grown by 13% and the production of military and special hardware has increased by 20%.

"We have registered growth in industrial areas," the deputy prime minister added.

According to Rogozin, a 32% and 22.5% growth has been registered in the radio electronic industry and the industry of ammunition and special chemical warfare agents, respectively.

The increase in the sphere of shipbuilding, the rocket and space industry and the aircraft industry makes up more than 16%, 7.5% and about 6%, respectively.

As the deputy prime minister said, the increase has been registered despite the Western sanctions, the currency exchange rate and other factors. All this has compensated the civilian industry’s losses, he added.

In 2011-2015, labor productivity in Russia’s defense and industrial sector grew by 1.7 times, Rogozin said.

According to him, the state defense industry development program was adopted in May. Earlier, the work was based on the federal target program. The new document is in line with the state armament program.

"We believe that it is right to have a program of purchases of specific military hardware and equipment, on the one hand, and a comprehensive and serious program of the industry preparation for fulfilling these tasks, on the other hand," the deputy prime minister said.
