American Police Force based in Texas has received the BATT-X (Ballistic Armored Tactical Transport) to perform rescue operations. Police forces from all over the world face new threats as bombs and assault rifle used during terrorist attacks. These vehicles are often armored and can also be used to transport specialized equipment (for example, tactical equipment and breaching tools).

The BATT-X (Ballistic Armored Tactical Transport) was especially designed to provide an armoured vehicle that can be used by law enforcement agencies and tactical teams to carry out missions in both rural and urban settings.

The BATT-X is manufactured by the American Company Armored Group (TAG) to provide a new generation of light tactical vehicles offering high level of protection, comfort, ease of maintenance, storage, and maneuverability.

The BATT-X is based on a on the Ford F-550 4×4 chassis, available in either gas or diesel engines. The diesel version offers more torque and a faster throttle response, while the gas model is quieter and less expensive, but still offers adequate horsepower. It can run at a maximum road speed of 130 km/h.

The BATT-X offers protection Level NIJ IV/B7+.50 Cal Ball Ammo and NIJ III/B6 Levels. This means they have the highest level of car armor protection, as classified by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). Level B7 ballistic armor can defend against armor piercing rifle fire and .50 caliber ball ammo rounds. Your team will have the ultimate protection in the BATT®-X.

The BATT-X can carry 12 to 14 fully geared officers inside. There is two seats at the front of the vehicle and two benches, mounted alongside the hull of the vehicle facing inward. There is two doors on each side of the vehicle and one rear door. In option, the vehicle can be fitted with TAG exclusive Multi Angle Hydraulic Ram system, Ram Cameras, Gas Needles, multiple lighting packages, 4 Doors, Off Road Kits, CBRNE package for detection of gases and radiation, LRAD, and many more options.
