Ukraine armed forces take delivery of 24 RQ-11B Raven-B UAVs from United States.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received a batch of American-made RQ-11B Raven UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). In September 2015, US Department of Defense has approved a contract to the U.S. Company Aerovironment Inc. for the delivery of 30 RQ-11B to Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says he hopes that the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) recently delivered by the United States to Ukraine will contribute to the prevention of violations of the ceasefire in Donbas.

According the news website Ukraine Today, a total of 24 RQ-11B Raven unmanned aircraft systems including 72 aircraft and associated equipment worth million arrived at Boryspil International Airport on July 27.

The RQ-11B Raven (Raven B) is a lightweight and low-altitude remote-controlled unmanned air vehicle (UAV) system designed and developed by the American Company AeroVironment.

Developed for the US Armed Forces, the UAV performs intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) operations. It is also known as a man-portable UAV. it can fly at an altitude from 30 to 150 m and provides real-time colour or infra-red imagery to the ground control and remote viewing units.

The maximum cruising speed of the Raven-B varies between 32 km/h and 81 km/h. Its maximum endurance is 90 min.
